How should the turning operation of chemical engineering machinery and equipment be carried out? Which equipment must be turned, which can be left unchanged, and which must absolutely not be turned? How are the turning cycle and the number of turns determined? Do the devices listed below require barring, and if so, how exactly should it be done? Are there any **standard requirements or industry-mandated standards that provide more detailed specifications regarding the operation of turntables for equipment such as belt conveyors, agitators on top of reactors, metering pumps, constant temperature and humidity chambers, fans on Rohter fans and air coolers in the circulating water system, as well as cooling towers?
Some equipment cannot run idle, but turning the shaft by hand is still necessary (I’m referring of course to manual rotation; a few turns won’t cause any problems), otherwise it can indeed get stuck.
Horizontal centrifuges require manual rotation once a month during shutdown.
For centrifugal compressors and reciprocating compressors, the bearings need to be lubricated every two weeks, which requires activating the lubricating oil system and the dry gas seal. Normally, use a small pump once a day~~~

These are all horizontal centrifugal pumps (out of service or as spare pumps); it is required to turn them daily by N+1.5 revolutions.
