There are now technologies for leak sealing under pressure and reinforcement under pressure. Plugging leaks under pressure means stopping the leak directly while the system is in normal operation. Pressure reinforcement involves strengthening pipes that are leaking or at risk of leaking while they are in operation, in order to prevent further leaks. The prices of both types of technical services are quite high; if there are many leakage points, it is recommended to replace the pipes directly. When changing pipes, attention must be paid to the welding process. One method is heat treatment, which is said to yield excellent results; the other is standard welding: proper beveling of the joints, TIG welding for the root layer, and careful handling of slag during the welding process. More than 6 years have passed since the second method was used in our facility, and not a single leak has occurred.
