For reciprocating compressors used in hydrogenation and hydrogen production, why does the hydrogen production unit not have an oil injector, while the hydrogenation unit does?

They are all designed to be oil-free, with minimal lubrication; theoretically, there is no issue if no oil is used. The reciprocating compressors in hydrogen production units are much smaller compared to those used in hydrogenation.
The first is the selection of the compressor, and the second is determined by the hydrogen production process conditions
The hydrogenation pressure is high, resulting in significant resistance for the compressor to do work against this pressure; in addition, the leakage rate is high, and the lubricating oil can easily be carried away.
Check the technical agreement. . . . Now, there are also oil-free lubrication compressors for hydrogenation.
