Can the bypass of the metal tube rotameter be removed?

For the renovation of the factory project, due to limited space on site, it is considered to eliminate the bypass for the rotameter. Since I am not aware of the amount of maintenance required in the future, could the teachers please cancel it?

It’s completely fine to use raw water; in most cases, it’s those units that require being taken offline for cleaning. It can recover within an hour if acted on quickly!
