Responsibilities of the main contractor and subcontractors

I’m a newcomer; I’m currently working on my first large-scale project, responsible for pipeline installation. We are the general contractor, with subcontractors working under us. I’m facing a problem now: I can’t figure out the respective responsibilities of subcontractor technicians and main contractor technicians. As a main contractor technician, I need to know which tasks are my own to carry out and which ones should be done by the subcontractors. An experienced sea traveler, please share your knowledge.
At first glance, I thought the poster wanted to share some experience; I’m not very familiar with this either. I hope those who have experience can pass on their knowledge – I’d be very grateful. OP, just giving you a upvote here
