Recently, we’ve been facing constant problems with the PLC here. We’re not sure what’s causing them; I hope experts can help explain it. Once, all the parameters in the PLC configuration software showed question marks, which led to the shutdown of the entire facility. This time, restarting the PLC cabinet resolved the issue, but a few days later another problem arose: one of the parameters in the software became stuck and wouldn’t respond, causing the entire PLC to freeze, as if it were dead. At first, restarting the cabinet worked, but after that problem started occurring, restarting it no longer helped. I’d like to know what’s causing these issues
Could it be that the PLC cabinet doesn’t dissipate heat properly (due to a faulty cooling fan), or that the high ambient temperature is causing the system to freeze up? I’ve encountered this situation before
That’s possible too, but we have the air conditioner on in our house. It just works fine after each restart; it’s a bit annoying though. How do you guys manage to get it to work properly? Is it a restart as well?

In the previous configuration, there was an issue where the operation data monitoring function froze; go in and check whether the communication is working properly. Generally speaking, you need to replace the industrial computer; when the configuration is being updated, the CPU runs too fast and overheats, causing the system to freeze. Switching to a new host resolves this issue, or you can replace the motherboard and graphics card, reinstall the configuration, then copy the data and run the system again. PLCs usually work fine for several years without any problems.
