Drawing of single-line diagrams for pressure pipelines

What are the things to note when drawing a single-line diagram of pressure pipelines, and what are the requirements for the starting point and ending point of such a diagram? I earnestly ask all experts for their guidance!
It seems that line diagrams are all created using software; drawing them by hand is indeed very time-consuming.
I’m not sure if what the original poster meant by a single-line diagram is an axonometric view (which we internally call an ISO diagram). If that’s the case, we create a 3D model using PDMS and then extract the data in one go, which seems to be quite efficient. If using CAD to do it, it will likely be slow, especially when there are many pipelines, as it requires a lot of manual effort
