How to use PCS7 APL

Friends, I’ve been having a lot of trouble lately. I’ve only worked with WINCC+STEP before and have no experience with PCS7; now I’m completely confused. I’ve read quite a bit of information, and it says that in WINCC many functions are carried out using APL icons. So I would like to ask: how are these icons used, and where can I find them? How are these icons associated in AS and OS? Is there any tool for that? ? ? ? Thank you so much!

The process picture itself is first defined within the Simatic Manager interface; in effect, it is \"bound\" to a certain CFC. Once the CFC is compiled, the corresponding icon is generated and added to the respective picture. After that, WinCC is used to edit the static elements of the picture – the dynamic elements hardly need any further modification, as they are already included in the icons and the pop-up faceplates associated with those icons.
