300Mw high-pressure water side safety valve

There is a renovation project: the original high-pressure heater and associated pipelines did not have safety valves on the water side. Now, the client requests that a safety valve on the water side be added to the high-pressure heater itself. This request can be fulfilled. However, as our company is a manufacturer rather than a design firm, we are unsure about how the discharge pipeline for this safety valve should be arranged. Should it be connected directly to the drain pipes used for venting air and water? If there are any relevant regulations, please let me know. Thank you!
