When selecting a triple-screw pump, what are the material requirements for components such as the screws, bushings, and pump body? What materials are available, and under what operating conditions are they suitable?

For triple-screw pumps, the screw material most commonly used in China in the SN series is alloy steel 38CRMUAL; 16MNCRS5 is also used, and it has been treated with nitrogen. The bushing material is mostly ductile iron. The housing is made of cast iron or carbon steel. In the hydraulic and lubrication industry, these are standard features. It can transport various grades of hydraulic oil and lubricating oil. In some cases with low viscosity, aluminum and copper bushings can be used. In the GR series of screw pumps, the casing and bushing are integrally formed, usually made of die-cast aluminum, while the screw can be made of materials such as 38CRMUAL or 16MNCRS5. In cases where there are extremely corrosive media, the entire triple-screw pump is made of stainless steel. However, domestic triple-screw pumps made entirely of stainless steel are rare, and they are also very expensive.
