Our factory is about to install a new set of equipment that requires material transportation; the pipeline length is around 400 meters. The material to be transported is used lubricating oil, and there are many bends in the pipeline. Could you tell me what kind of pumps are generally used for this purpose?
Centrifugal pump or screw pump. Common pumps.
With a high elbow height and high pipe resistance, positive-displacement pumps are more suitable; screw pumps provide high flow rates, while gear pumps offer lower flow rates

Given the conveying medium and head requirements, as well as the high resistance caused by the many elbows, it is clear that a positive-displacement pump, specifically a gear pump, is the appropriate choice
Both screw pumps and gear pumps have a certain degree of self-priming capability; you can ask a few relevant manufacturers about this.
If there are particles, use a double (triple) screw pump for high flow rates. Use a high-pressure diaphragm pump when the flow rate is low. If the used oil is free of particles, a gear pump can be chosen.
Screw pump, vane pump, gear pump. The pumping efficiency of a sliding vane pump is higher than that of a gear pump.
