Safety supervision is a routine task for safety inspectors. It is important to fulfill supervisory duties conscientiously, adhere to strict supervision procedures, address any gaps in supervision, and ensure that oversight is effective. The author believes that in the process of supervision, it is essential to have \"four kinds of hearts\": first, sincerity; second, carefulness; third, determination; and fourth, perseverance. First, one must be sincere. Safety inspectors must always keep in mind that the responsibility for safe production is of utmost importance, and they must remain vigilant regarding safety at all times. It is necessary to strengthen a sense of responsibility, be brave in taking on duties, and be determined to take action and exercise oversight. We must truly keep the mission in mind, bear the responsibilities on our shoulders, focus on carrying out our work, and prioritize the safety of the people’s lives and property. We need to ensure that responsibilities are fulfilled, strengthen safety measures, and always adhere to the red line that development must not come at the cost of human lives. We should firmly uphold the concept of \"putting people first, giving top priority to life, and achieving safe development,\" and consciously make ensuring the safety of the people’s lives and property the starting point for all our efforts, integrating this principle throughout the entire process of safety supervision. Second, be careful. Safety supervisors must fulfill their duties to the best of their ability and earnestly carry out their responsibilities for safety oversight. It is necessary to go directly to the sites of enterprises and carry out strict, thorough, and meticulous supervision of work safety measures, paying attention to every detail and leaving no potential accident hazards unaddressed. It is necessary to strengthen the identification of potential accident hazards in high-risk industries such as coal mines, non-coal mines, hazardous chemicals, road traffic, fireworks and firecrackers, special equipment, construction projects, civil explosives, and metallurgy, as well as in crowded places like schools and large shopping malls. For the potential accident hazards existing in enterprises, those enterprises should be urged to address them promptly in accordance with the requirements of ensuring that responsibility, measures, funding, time limits, and emergency plans are all in place. Third, one must be ruthless. There are no trivial matters when it comes to safety work; in matters of safety, strictness must be the guiding principle, and efforts must be sustained to the end. Focus on the important matters, but also pay attention to the minor ones; in fact, treat the minor matters as if they were important. It is necessary to strictly ensure the implementation of various safety systems, various safety measures, and various safety responsibilities. A \"zero-tolerance\" policy must be adopted toward any illegal or unlawful activities related to safety in businesses; whenever such cases are discovered, they must be investigated and dealt with rigorously without any leniency. Those who violate safety regulations must pay a high price for their actions, so as to prevent them from being negligent or breaking the law in matters of safety, thereby ensuring the protection of the lives and property of the people. Fourth, one must have perseverance. Work safety is a long-term endeavor that involves all aspects of a company’s operations, and it remains an eternal theme for the survival and development of enterprises. If safety inspectors conduct more inspections and issue more reminders on a regular basis, it might **reduce the likelihood of accidents occurring**. Therefore, safety inspectors must first be diligent in their movements, going to the grassroots levels frequently to identify potential accident hazards and urging prompt corrective actions; secondly, they need to be vocal, emphasizing the risks and sounding the alarm, and stopping any violations as soon as they are detected; thirdly, they should use their intelligence to provide reasonable suggestions for improving the company’s safety practices, to refine various safety regulations, and to enhance the company’s overall safety management level.
First, one must be sincere; second, careful; third, resolute; fourth, persistent. Well said; safety supervision is actually meant to serve those at the grassroots level. Service must be provided with sincerity and care, but if it isn’t understood, then firmness is required. Over time, perseverance is essential.
