Selection of the project control system

The company has a new project that involves the selection of a control system, and we’d like to hear everyone’s opinions. The current system consists of Intouch and Siemens PLCs; for the new project, ABB Freelance is being considered. There are several reasons for this – our sister company uses Freelance, and since the projects are similar, we can adopt some of their approaches. As end-users, we think that everyone is more familiar with operating the existing system as well as maintaining it, so we prefer to use that configuration. We’re not very familiar with Freelance; we’re not sure if its maintenance is easy or not, nor whether the system is stable. Please share your opinions… If anyone is familiar with Freelance, could you let us know?
It’s said to not work well; it seems like you’re better off using a domestic DCS.
I agree with what was said above: domestic systems are easy to use, come with good after-sales support, and are inexpensive. They pose no difficulties for beginners, and maintenance will be even easier in the future!
Domestic products might not be considered by foreign parties...
The quality of domestic DCS systems is excellent; it’s just the service and scalability aspects that are problematic
