A high-pressure and a low-pressure dual-control valve are used in parallel; neither of these valves has cross connections, and no low-level protection valve is installed. Is this thing reliable or not? How to use it. :)
Why deploy them at the same time? Isn’t it usually in a side-by-side format for size? It is not recommended without liquid level protection
With such high pressure, and given that a pressure relief orifice plate is required when dealing with cross-line connections, the cost becomes too high. For situations where high-pressure fluid flows into low-pressure valves, control is achieved through either high-level detection or proportional control. Production is still very safe. In the case of low liquid level protection, consider whether it is more important for the low-pressure safety valve to activate, or for the recycle hydrogen compressor to stop as part of the interlock mechanism

There are two processes: from high pressure to low pressure, and from hot high pressure to cold high pressure. What you are referring to is probably the process from cold high pressure to cold low pressure. This type of control operates in a staged manner; in automatic mode, both valves function simultaneously.
