Is protection required for outdoor fire alarm pull stations (explosion-proof type)?

Manual fire alarm buttons for outdoor use (explosion-proof type); the Safety Department said that they are exposed to wind and sun, so corrective actions are required to provide protection. I feel that by installing protective measures, it might be intended to obscure the safety facilities, making the signs less visible. Internal staff may know that this is a fire alarm button, but what about outsiders? ! Are there any relevant regulations in this regard? If protection is provided, does that violate the regulations? Find the corresponding specification.
Personally, I think obvious markings for the fire alarm buttons should be provided after installing the protective measures...
