Does the instrument’s output signal increase as pressure or temperature rises?

The output signal of instruments is generally 4 to 20 mA. In the case of pressure gauges, does the output signal also increase gradually from 4 mA as the pressure rises?

For example, in a pressure vessel, when the contents remain constant, the pressure may change with the ambient temperature; in such cases, the signal from the pressure transmitter will reflect this change. A typical example are liquefied gas storage tanks and those for some low-boiling-point fluids, whose pressure exhibits regular variations as temperatures change throughout the day, a phenomenon that is common in many factories. Another example is the measurement of flow rate during gas transportation, which requires temperature and pressure compensation; these two parameters are related through the mathematical relationship of the gas equation of state. It’s your understanding of the original poster’s question that is poor, not the question itself being bad.
