Experts, gas detection and alarm devices must undergo mandatory inspections once a year. Does anyone know what the legal basis for this is? Is it based on testing carried out by a third party? What is the basis for this?
JJG 693-2011 \"Verification Regulations for Flammable Gas Detection and Alarm Devices\" requires verification to be carried out by qualified verification institutions.
It is calibrated every six months, with the calibration carried out by the metrology institute under the Quality Supervision Bureau; some specialized testing companies can also perform this task, though it’s not clear whether such services are now allowed.
