Dear teachers, I work in the chemical industry. This is my first time here, so I would like to bow and thank everyone for reading my post! I need two molten salt heat exchangers to heat the base oil. What kind of design do I need? I would appreciate some advice from experts! The base oil is used waste lubricating oil, containing sludge
Chemical engineering design includes process design and equipment design. For your heat exchanger, process calculations should be carried out first, followed by the selection and calculation of the heat exchange equipment, and finally detailed calculations for that equipment.
Are you an end-user or a manufacturer? If it is an end-user, it is recommended to find a manufacturer to handle the design; if it is a manufacturer, then the suggestion mentioned above is quite reasonable.
