The issue with the instrument’s range

I have installed a steam flow meter with a measurement range of 0–20 tons; usually the steam flow is around 7 tons. If the range is changed to 0–15 tons, will the steam flow amount change, or will it still be around 7 tons? Please, let an expert tell me. Thank you -
There is no change in PV. Changing the range only alters the MA value that is output
The measurement value remains the same; it’s just the milliampere value of your output that changes
It depends on what type of flow meter it is; if it is a differential pressure flow meter, recalculation may be required.
To change the range, it is necessary to provide new parameters to the manufacturer who will then calculate and replace the flow meter; if only the range setting on the display instrument is changed, the measurement results will be lower than the actual values.....

I thought changing the range wouldn’t affect the measurements, but it happened to be a differential pressure flow meter – after changing the differential pressure value, the readings became correct. However, once the traffic changes, the measured parameters shoot up
For differential pressure flow, it needs to be recalculated, as there is a corresponding relationship between the differential pressure range and the flow rate range
