For the PSA tuning, the exhaust pressure of the air compressor is 8 BAR; the designed adsorption pressure is 7 BAR. However, the pressure reaching the cold dryer is only 6 BAR. I told him that there was a problem with the filters and the cold dryer itself. He then removed the two filter elements located before the cold dryer, saying that there was some welding slag inside them. But he didn’t remove the filter elements behind the cold dryer, claiming that there was still a pressure drop. I suggested that he take out those filter elements, clean the pipes by releasing any waste fluid from the valves, clean the filters as well, and blow out the filter elements before reinstalling them. He immediately said that I had chosen a too-small filter; my sample filter is by no means small, and it’s an imported filter, so there can’t be any problems. Then he called someone on the phone right in front of me, and he also asked me how much molecular sieve I had used. I told him, and I even specified which brand of molecular sieve it was; I gave him all the details, and then he hung up the phone. Since the required adsorption pressure is not met, how can the equipment be adjusted? Tell him that the problem lies in the cold dryer and the filter – the pressure drop is too high. It is necessary to identify the cause of this pressure drop and address it before the equipment can be adjusted properly. This person doesn’t even understand basic common sense. I can only laugh about it; if I were asked questions myself, I would definitely go over to talk.
