1. The scope of application of the standard clearly covers Class D fluids, but \"300.1.3 Exclusions (a)\\" excludes pipelines under Class D fluid conditions. What’s going on here? 2. Regarding the definition of Class D fluids, we can see what it intends to convey: namely, those operating conditions that are not hazardous are classified as Class D. However, its temperature range is from -29 degrees to 186 degrees; temperatures of nearly 200 degrees can already cause harm to the human body. How can this be explained? What determines this 186 degrees? I hope experienced experts can help clarify this. Thank you! !
186 degrees may be the temperature corresponding to saturated steam at 10 bar.
I’m not quite sure about this place either – is steam actually a Class D fluid?
