LPG desulfurization

We conduct analyses once a week, and in the past, the effectiveness of desulfurization would decline rapidly when the concentration dropped to around 4%. But after a period without analysis and then resuming it, the testing laboratory informed us that due to the interference caused by the blue color of the catalyst alkaline solution, it was difficult to determine the titration endpoint; as a result, the analysis results could only be relatively accurate. Since then, it has been determined that the desulfurization efficiency drops rapidly when the concentration falls to around 5%. 2. Therefore, this is likely due to the error in determining the titration endpoint by the analysts; only if they pay attention to it can things be resolved properly. 3. Over time, there tends to be a pattern in the usage cycle after each alkali replacement; at the appropriate time, special attention is paid, and action is taken promptly when it’s time to replace it.
