Thinking about the relationship between the two companies, it’s possible for them to reconcile again~~ Hehe~~ Praxair and Linde have reached an agreement on a merger; the world’s largest industrial gas company will be created as a result. German company Linde and its American competitor Praxair reached an agreement on Tuesday regarding a potential merger, which could result in the creation of the world’s largest industrial gas company, with a combined value of $66.6 billion. Linde said on Tuesday that the deal would be a reciprocal merger, with annual synergies of around $1 billion. However, Lind also noted that the current agreement is not binding, and the deal may not go through after all. Linde and Praxair ended the previous round of merger talks in September, partly because Linde’s labor representatives were dissatisfied with the plan to move the headquarters of the combined company from Europe to the United States. Negotiations between the two sides resumed in early December.
After Lindo Company eliminated those within the company who were opposed to the merger, it embarked on the merger process, with success looking likely.
I am not optimistic about the merger succeeding. If that damn merger actually goes through, the gas industry will be in complete chaos – it’s outright monopoly
