The liquid ammonia storage area poses not only a fire risk but also a risk of poisoning. Therefore, the fire sprinkler system in the liquid ammonia tank area needs to be interconnected with the fire alarm system and the gas detection system.
The main concern is that in the event of a major leak, the area will be completely covered in mist; going to the site to manually open the valves means that visibility will be affected
