It is the ratio of the total solvent feed amount to the material feed amount in the system; for example, in the propane deasphalting process, the solvent feed to the extraction tower consists of supercritical recovered high-pressure solvent and fresh solvent, and the ratio of the sum of these two amounts to the feed amount of crude oil is known as the solvent ratio for propane deasphalting.
