How do people control the wall thickness difference between adjacent sections of a tower? According to the standards, a wall thickness difference of 2–4 mm between adjacent sections is advisable. If this range is exceeded (for example, the reinforced cylinder in a section where the diameter changes is usually thicker, resulting in a wall thickness difference of more than 6 mm with the adjacent section), should the thicker cylinder be made thinner or should a transitional cylinder section be added?
