The gasket for the chemical pump impeller just won’t hold properly; leakage always occurs at the shaft sleeve. Is there any good solution? I would like to ask the experts here.
It’s a PTFE gasket, right? It would be better to use a ring for the grooves that are cut out~
Doesn’t the shaft sleeve have an O-ring? If shims are required for all the assemblies in front of the bushings, apply waterproof sealant as a fallback.
Grooves can be made on the contact surface between the impeller and the shaft sleeve, with a PTFE gasket added (if the contact area permits), or an O-ring can be placed in the shaft sleeve.
As required, the material of the shaft used inside must be corrosion-resistant, although its resistance to corrosion is not very high.
