Could you tell me why that is? It would be better to have a flowchart, thank you
This backflow air supply is supposed to simply increase the flow rate (pressure) at the inlet of the compressor, in order to prevent too low a pressure there, which could lead to low compressor efficiency or even prevent the compressor from operating at all? PS: The entire process is primarily aimed at recovering C3–C5 compounds from the associated gas, and only cooling to around -65°C is required at the later stages.
The pressure is around 14 barg
I’m not sure what you mean. If it’s a compressor unit, the outlet of the final stage is connected to the inlet of the first stage, in order to prevent the inlet pressure from being too low, which could result in an excessive compression ratio and damage to the unit
