The manufacturer provided files saved in Plant 3D 2015. My computer has limited specifications, so it can only run Plant 3D 2014. The problem is that it’s not possible to add the files saved in 2015 to the project using 2014. I hope someone experienced can help me solve this issue! ! !

There is no encryption; my colleague’s computer, which runs 2015, can add projects, so why can’t it do that on mine?
Each version of AutoCAD Plant 3D handles files differently; when opening a file from an earlier version with a newer one, a migration prompt will appear along with a question about whether to create a backup. After upgrading to the new version, the old version can no longer be opened; only the backup version is accessible. This is what sets it apart from the regular AutoCAD version. Therefore, before upgrading to the new version, please think carefully about it, as there is no going back once the upgrade is done.
