Flames and thick smoke could be seen hundreds of meters away. The reporter learned that the fire was caused by the packaging layer of the abandoned cooling tower in the factory area. The fire was extinguished about half an hour later and no one was injured. “A chemical factory in Linzi caught fire! ”A Linzi citizen reported to this newspaper that the fire was caused by Shandong Xingya New Materials Co., Ltd. (Zibo Liancarb Chemical Co., Ltd.) located in the Qilu Chemical Industrial Zone. The citizen saw billowing smoke rising from the factory a few hundred meters away, and the fire jumped more than ten meters high. “Can smell burning smell. ”said the citizen. The reporter learned that this company is mainly engaged in the production and sales of carbon five deep processing series of fine chemicals, as well as the research and development of fine chemical production technology and technical services.
