Hello everyone. As shown in the diagram, “the signal lines are connected using hard wires.” What exactly is a hard wire connection? What kind of wire is it?
It generally refers to signals that are not transmitted via RS485 or Ethernet, such as analog signals, digital signals, pulse frequencies, and so on
Hardwiring is commonly used for relatively important interlocks between different devices, as opposed to communication between devices. For example, control system A needs to acquire signals from control system B for important interlocks; this cannot be done via communication, but only through hardwired connections.

I think it’s not possible to do this via communication; signals can only be obtained through hardwired connections, such as 1P or several P cables.
