Why is the Roots blower so noisy?

The noise level at the inlet and outlet of the Roots blower, even with silencers in place, remains around 85 decibels. Why is that? What are the main sources?
A silencer reduces the noise generated by gas flow, but it cannot eliminate the noise produced by the machinery itself.
The noise level of rotary vane blowers is extremely high
If allowed, soundproof enclosures are now added around rotary blowers, which are essentially small boxes.
I think the default settings are like this; it’s just that the noise inside the server room is louder
With earplugs, this affects just a few people.
Rotary vane blowers are relatively noisy; one can build a separate small room and use sound-absorbing materials on the walls.
