Name: Xu Anwen, 64 years old, retired. Holds a bachelor’s degree; from Taizhou, Zhejiang. Contact number: 13205763481, QQ: 79307814919. From 1977 to 1995, he worked at the Xi’an Institute of Modern Chemistry on chemical research and development; thereafter he entered the private sector and has been engaged in chemical R&D for 40 years. His expertise lies in having contractors install fume hoods in newly built R&D centers at 1/5 to 1/10 of the market price – offering practical, attractive, elegant, and intelligent solutions. 12V DC power is supplied to the ventilation cabinet; using a DC mixer eliminates noise. The control panel is equipped with a timer switch, a small DC speed regulator, a thyristor voltage regulator, an intelligent temperature controller, and corresponding sockets. The DC motor is fixed at the top, preventing it from moving around – this fixing is achieved using round steel rods with a diameter of 15mm, along with vertical rods that secure the motor. There are no unnecessary components such as tripods, voltage regulators, or speed regulators inside the ventilation cabinet, making installation and cleaning much easier. The intelligent control panel manages the experimental process, enabling automated control of temperature during experiments. One person can operate multiple devices, and the instruments continue to work even after work hours; in other words, it’s efficient working thanks to intelligence. I have been engaged in organic synthesis research for 40 years; I have worked on hundreds of compounds, including liquid crystal intermediates, pharmaceutical intermediates, pesticide intermediates, and various organic intermediates. I have carried out many different types of reactions such as the Puck reaction, high-pressure hydrogenation reduction reactions, oxidation reactions, and esterification reactions, and I have introduced my own innovations to make these processes more efficient and faster ; For the post-treatment of experiments, the centrifugal fitting I invented allows a very small amount of sample to be used; it separates the crystals from the mother liquor without contaminating the dryer, resulting in no losses ; There are too many experimental samples, and the gas and liquid chromatographs simply can’t keep up. I usually use traditional analytical methods such as melting point, boiling point, differential scanning calorimetry, and refractometry. I invented a melting point apparatus with video recording capability; it allows for the observation of subtle changes in the melting range, which can serve as a substitute for gas and liquid chromatography analysis ; When choosing assistants, I prioritize carefulness and diligence first; academic qualifications come second. Careful and diligent middle school students can also work as R&D assistants, with the goal of training them to become future workshop supervisors and key production technicians. Additionally, I have made my own discoveries and inventions regarding the usage of small devices for treating insomnia, making such treatment more effective. In my future workplace, I plan to use my spare time to help my colleagues and many others get rid of the trouble caused by insomnia. As Guo Mingyi, a descendant of Lei Feng, said – helping others brings happiness to oneself.
Job seekers and employers should help one another.
I have been working in hydrogenation for over 10 years, and I have also conducted research on catalysts.
Research and development skills are very important; they are the result of years of work experience.
Inventions in daily life and those in work complement each other; those who come up with many inventions at work also tend to have many inventions in their personal lives, are good at living, and enjoy making friends who share similar feelings.
Gold will always find a discerning eye; it will always shine!
Technical cooperation isn’t about the level of expertise; it seems that fate plays an important role!
Technical professionals should each have their own strengths, right? Should recruitment consider special skills?
Only by treating pharmaceutical and chemical R&D as a hobby, and by seeing the identification of problems and the pursuit of innovation as a passion, can one do this work well.
