What is the impact of high methane content in the methanation section on cryogenic processing?
There is no distinct image; the methane content is high, a large amount of product is obtained through liquefaction, and the amount of cooling required also needs to be adjusted promptly.

A high content of liquefied methane indicates a high carbon content in the methanation reaction, which can lead to carbon buildup in this reaction and affect it; however, there is an acceptable range for this value. Below the acceptable hydrogen-to-carbon ratio range, if decarburization is not carried out prior to liquefaction, CO2 will cause freezing and blockages in the cryogenic tank.
