Several questions about liquid sulfur

1. Can liquid sulfur be purged using steam? 2. Does everyone have a nitrogen purging line at the outlet of the liquid sulfur pump? 3. For those with a nitrogen purge line, is hot nitrogen or cold nitrogen used?
It’s usually low-pressure steam for heating, I’ve never seen nitrogen purging at the pump outlet of the liquid sulfur tank; the liquid sulfur at the pump outlet goes to the sulfur shaping unit and the liquid sulfur storage tanks. I’m not sure whether nitrogen purging is used in that case
I have never seen a setup for steam purging liquid sulfur pipelines. If such a setting exists, share it so we can take a look. Generally, no nitrogen line is required from the liquid sulfur pump outlet to the granulator; it flows back to the liquid sulfur tank by gravity. The granulator head is equipped with a hot nitrogen line, but it is hardly used. For the long-distance transportation of liquid sulfur, it is possible to consider purging it using nitrogen lines in segments.
We have both steam and nitrogen purging nozzles here, but generally nitrogen is used as the purging medium!
