The weight display on the on-site weighing display unit does not match that on the PLC display; the signal used is 4-20mA. Is it a card error issue or a programming issue? What’s going on?
It’s mainly a problem with the parameter settings; check the range settings displayed on the PLC.
During debugging, it’s not one number; the difference between the two numbers is not significant. After running for a while, the difference becomes even greater.
Is the error caused by interference in signal transmission?
When a discrepancy occurs, use a multimeter to measure the current flowing into the PLC; this will allow you to determine whether the PLC’s display is correct and to identify where the fault lies.
The weighing is inaccurate; you need to calibrate it. Find out by using the code of the load cell to measure it, and that will reveal the cause. You are thinking too much
The scale cannot be exactly the same as the display on the PLC; card-type sensors also have their own accuracy levels. Even if such sensors have an accuracy of ±0.01%, there will still be a error of 8 kg within a measurement range of 0 to 80,000 kg.
