What are the precautions for heat pumps? How fast should the temperature be increased? Are there any special requirements for heat pumps in winter?
All pumps that require a heat pump have a minimum heat pump line; just ensure it is properly set up. As for how long, it depends on the size of the pump and the temperature to be achieved. Generally, 5 minutes is sufficient, unless there are special requests.
For heat pumps, it’s sufficient to pay attention to the rate of temperature rise. The books state that this rate should not exceed 50°C per hour, but in practice we have also used a rate of no more than 100°C per hour, and this has not caused any significant issues.
