Beijing is seeking a Director of EHS. The company in question is a secondary subsidiary of a large state-owned chemical enterprise, responsible for the overall management of the group’s EHS activities; it currently has over 20 subsidiaries. Requirements: Master’s degree or above, major in chemistry engineering, safety engineering, environmental-related fields; background from 211/985 universities (it’s inevitable – state-owned enterprises require candidates with solid academic backgrounds, and this is highly valued). It didn’t exist 10 years ago, but the good schools that were around then are now almost all 985 or 211 institutions
