Antifreezing for Northern Chemical Plant

In chemical plants in the north, pipe freezing and blockages due to heat tracing problems occur easily in winter. Our facility is equipped with a steam engineering station on-site (a DN20 pipeline branches off from a main steam line; there are valves at both ends of this pipeline, which are used for purging and sampling purposes). I would like to ask how Dajia prevents freezing in such situations. Additionally, due to the special nature of the materials used in our facility, some of the material pipelines have heating systems activated before operation starts, and these heating systems can be used once normal operation begins, otherwise cavitation may occur in the pumps. I’m interested in knowing how Dajia implements measures to prevent freezing using such heating systems We can’t stop and purge every time, right?
A steam trap is installed at the end, and a condensate recovery system is introduced, thus creating a loop that prevents the formation of dead ends when the end valve is closed. As long as a loop is established, the steam pipes will not freeze, unless the valve before the trap is opened too narrowly. Valves can also be installed at the branch lines, with the lowest point of the pipeline downstream of those valves leading into the interior; condensate can then be manually drained when in use.
