Both Shandong Fangyuan’s two-step copper smelting method and Yu Guang’s three-stage copper smelting furnace were designed with the involvement of ENFI. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?
I know a bit about both companies; Fangyuan’s rough-copper quality is somewhat inferior. But the furnace lifespan and throughput are better. Yuguang Jinlian’s crude copper has good quality, but that of the others is somewhat inferior.
The two-step and three-step methods are nothing more than electrolysis processes; it depends on whether the purification pressure of the electrolyte is acceptable.
