What causes the broken pump shaft during operation? Motor with a flow rate of 1000 m3/h, head of 25 m, and a specific gravity of the medium set at 1.35; under normal operation the specific gravity of the medium is around 1.28. There is no throttling device on the pipeline. The material of the pump is 904L.

Long operating time, axis to service life ； 3. Poor shaft quality ； 4. It is recommended to use forged parts rather than bar materials for the shafts ； 5. The small shaft diameter does not meet the operating requirements under the given conditions.
Improper shaft design, incorrect usage, wrong heat treatment, substandard machining, and use under conditions beyond the specified limits can all cause the shaft to break
The pump broke down after less than 3 months of operation. So, the situation of \"long operating time and shaft to service life\" does not exist.
There are problems with the shaft area; are the impeller and mouth ring worn? If it’s just the shaft that breaks, then there was a problem with that shaft from the time it left the factory. If there is contact wear between the impeller and the pump casing, it may also be due to a loose impeller lock nut, damaged bearings, or particle impurities in the fluid being transported, which cause uneven stress on the pump shaft and lead to its fracture
The medium being transported is ammonium sulfide mother liquor, and the shaft of the mother liquor circulation pump has broken.
