Regarding float flow meters

On the nameplate of the float flow meter, there is a value for density. What type of density does that value refer to? What’s the meaning of that density?
For float flow meters, flow velocity should be the most important relevant parameter, but density is certainly related to buoyancy.
If a flow meter needs to be replaced, it must be a float-type flow meter with the same density as that indicated on the nameplate; therefore, I would like to know what density is being referred to
It is the density of the medium; I have seen the relevant calculation formulas in the instructions included in the packaging box of float flow meters.
The density of the medium; varying medium densities result in different buoyant forces on the float.
Density refers to the density of the medium; only when the actual density of the medium matches the density indicated on the float flow meter can the accuracy of the flow meter’s measurements be ensured (whether the measurements are in terms of volume or mass). Moreover, the changes caused by differences in density are not purely linear.
