The metering diaphragm pump produces no pressure output after the pump head has been replaced; seeking advice
First, check whether the transmission mechanism moves and what its stroke is. Check again whether there is pressure in the hydraulic oil system and if there are any issues with the pressure relief valve. Finally, disassemble the pump head to check whether the diaphragm is properly installed.
At first, the pump worked normally; however, the pump head developed cracks and started leaking water. Only the pump head was replaced – nothing else was altered
Our company’s reciprocating pump is equipped with a dedicated exhaust valve, which is hexagonal in shape; it needs to be turned to release air for 5 minutes. Simply pressing down on that valve does not provide an effective exhaust effect.
Is it possible to see whether the plunger is moving? Additionally, since the metering pump does work by overcoming pressure, is there any backpressure at the outlet? Is there a problem with the oil refill valve?
When disassembling, check whether components such as check valves are installed or installed correctly; with the metering pump located below, installation errors often occur
