Under normal conditions, when the temperature in areas where eye wash stations are required to be installed is below -10 degrees Celsius, it is recommended that companies install professional electrically heated eye wash stations in such cold operating environments. The feature of electric heat-traced eye washers is that they drain the water from the eye washing unit after the eye washing process is complete, to prevent the water inside from freezing. Since electric heating technology cannot be applied to the eye wash assembly, evacuation technology has been incorporated to enable the eye washer to function properly in cold environments. This type of eye washer is also one of the models in the stainless steel composite eye washer series. If the operating temperature is above -10 degrees Celsius, the drainage time must not exceed 20 seconds; if it is around -15 degrees Celsius, the drainage time must not exceed 15 seconds. However, when the operating temperature is below -15 degrees Celsius, the water source must be drained within 10 seconds to prevent freezing.
