What is the typical solid content in the black water at the outlet of the gasifier and wash tower?
This is generally related to the quality of coal, right? Gasification furnaces generally have a solid content of 1.5–2%; this is not necessarily the case for wash towers. In the absence of a cyclone separator, the solid content can be similar to or even higher than that in gasification furnaces. In systems with multiple nozzles and cyclone separators, the solid content is around 1%
