The 2016 Shenzhen International Marathon kicks off next week

Race time: 08:00 on December 18. Starting point of the race: South Square of Shenzhen Civic Center. Race route: Along Shenan Avenue and Shahe West Road, passing through Futian District, Nanshan District, and Luohu District. Finish points: Shenzhen Bay Sports Center (for the half-marathon), South Square of Shenzhen Civic Center (for the full marathon and 6-kilometer run). Scale of the event: 30,000 participants in total; 12,000 participants are allowed for the marathon category (including 200 team entries), 12,000 for the half-marathon, and 6,000 for the 6-kilometer run. Race events: Marathon (42.195 kilometers), Half-Marathon (21.0975 kilometers)； 6-kilometer run
Marathons are mainly run by people at a professional or decent amateur level; not everyone is capable of running them
