Recently, our company has been researching the thermal pyrolysis process for oil sands. The particle size of the oil sands to be used in this process is required to be less than 10 mm, and these oil sands contain approximately 13% asphalt; they become quite sticky after being compressed. Initially, roller crushers were used, but the material tended to stick to the rollers. We would like to ask if anyone has any good methods or equipment that can meet the requirements for these tests.
I don’t know either; I’m not sure how jaw crushers work. We used to use jaw crushers to crush calcium carbide. Do not spray.
