The protective helmet was invented and designed in Australia by Hall; it consists of a brim that protrudes forward, an adjustable strap that fits around the head, and a strap for pulling. An adjustment strap is attached to the rear edge or near the edge of the brim; a cloth strip is connected to the brim and extends backward from it, thereby securing the brim to the head, while the cloth strip covers the head and drapes vertically from it down to the neck and shoulders. The adjustment strap is placed at the back of the wearer’s head to secure the protective helmet in place.
