What is XA1102?
It’s a follow-up valve that adjusts the opening degree or frequency of the pump’s outlet valve based on the liquid level in the tank.
Linked to the liquid level of the storage tank, this feeding pump motor is an inverter-driven motor; xa indicates the speed of the motor or serves as a fault alarm.
It might be a measure to prevent the storage tank from overflowing
I need to ask what XA1102 in the design institute specifically means. Here, XA is commonly used to indicate a pump fault alarm, while XL indicates that the pump is operating. This design is quite imperfect; as can be seen from this diagram, the pump is not controlled via frequency conversion. There is an interlock relationship between the LIS1102 and the pump, but this interlock relationship is not indicated (it is not clear whether it is an interlock based on high liquid level, low liquid level, or both).
What is meant is to stop the pump when the liquid level in the storage tank is very low; the level transmitter sends a signal to the interlock circuit, which then sends this signal to the pump’s motor. It’s not common to combine this signal with the pump failure alarm signal in the diagram. We also often use XA to represent motor fault signals in our diagrams.
Does LTS mean level switch? When the liquid level reaches a certain point, the pump starts; when it drops, the pump stops, and an alarm is triggered in that case. .
