GE Ultrasonic Flow Meter Program Settings Menu and Their Meanings:1. CHANNEL 2 PIPE PARAMETERS: Parameters for Channel 2’s pipe.
TRANSDUCER NUMBER 113 – Standard; this is the probe number.
WEDGE TEMP INPUT: Fixed – The method for entering the wedge temperature; “Fixed” means a constant temperature.
WEDGE TEMPERATURE: 64.0000 deg C – The temperature of the sound wedge.
PIPE MATERIAL: Steel – The material of the pipe; “Steel” refers to carbon steel.
PIPE OD: 1282.0000 Circum.mm – The outer diameter of the pipe; “Circum.mm” denotes circumference in millimeters.
PIPE WALL: 12.6999 mm – The thickness of the pipe wall.
LINING No – Information regarding the inner lining of the pipe wall.
TRACKING WINDOWS? No – Indicates whether the signal tracking window is enabled; this window is useful when multiple different fluids are flowing through the pipeline.
FLUID TYPE: Water – The type of fluid flowing through the pipeline.
WATER TEMPERATURE: 62.0000 deg C – The temperature of the fluid.
REYNOLDS CORRECTION: Active – Indicates that Reynolds number correction is enabled.
KV INPUT SELECTION: Enter static KV – The method for entering the value used for Reynolds number correction.
KINEMATIC VISCOSITY: 0.461 E-6 m^2/s – The dynamic viscosity value; for water, this value is automatically entered.
CALIBRATION FACTOR: 1.0000 – The calibration factor of the instrument.
NUMBER OF TRAVERSES: 1 – The number of installation distances required for the probe.
